Class 1 learned about Scottish New Years traditions and compared them to some other countries. They learned Auld Lang Syne to wish each other a happy New Year and did some actions too!

Our youngest pupil in Class 1 kept up the Bothkennar primary tradition of putting the angel on top of the Christmas tree.🎄

Class 1 learned how to write and say their name in Japanese today! They used Japanese calligraphy ink and special brushes to help them get the strokes right!
