One of my favorite projects of the year….food trucks! Students design their own mini food trucks with menus. Then students have to walk around to each other’s food truck and make economic choices. Such a fun economics enrichment activity. 😍#thisisthird

Field trip of the Valentine Museum!

Each day we have been learning about a new simple machine! Yesterday we created a wheel & axle (car) with some simple materials and tested it out on an inclined plane with some things we found around the classroom! #thisisthird #simplemachines

Today we met with our kindergarten buddies! After listening to the story,“How to Catch a Gingerbread Man”…they made a gingerbread man trap with gum drops and toothpicks. They worked so well together and had great conversation. What a fun way to spend the last day before break!

Today was 3rd grade’s second annual Holidays Around the World Day! 🌎 We learn about different countries and how they celebrate the holidays. Students get to rotate classrooms to experience each country by creating a craft and enjoying a special treat. They were SO happy. ♥️
