@TheShrubberySch Year 2 have had the most amazing day at Stafford Castle today ... and even the weather was kind to us. There are so many amazing photos that I'm going to pop them together into a video clip so watch this space ... In the meantime, here's a few for now ...
@TheShrubberySch Year 2 made some amazing towers today. They were thinking about their previous learning about how to make structures stable and strong. I think we have some structural engineers in the making!
@TheShrubberySch#WorldMathsDay2022 Year 2 made some fantastic times tables kites today. They also folded and cut the paper into quarters to make their kite design.
@TheShrubberySch Junior Sign Language club were incredibly excited to welcome some visitors from @BraidwoodSchool for lunch today. They shared information about their families and pets with each other - all in sign language of course! Our visitors taught them some new signs too.
@TheShrubberySch A huge thank you to Logan's Mum who surprised year 2 on Friday by not only reading some of Gangster Granny, but dressing up as her too! Thank you to Ellis' Mum who came to read to us on Monday too - the children kept wanting 'just one more'.
I am incredibly proud to be sharing the full video of Children's Mental Health Week at The Shrubbery School. Well done children - you really did give your all! πβ€οΈπ§‘πππππ

The children learnt how to give a 'pizza' massage today. They were very kind and respectful to each other and made sure they asked the person's permission first. Ask your child to give you a demonstration tonight - you won't regret it! @TheShrubberySch#ChildrensMentalHealthWeek
