Advocacy may occur in closed meetings; however, if boards remain silent publicly, they become complicit in the misinformation and deception that is being attempted by government.
School boards should not fear retribution for making statements that contradict government positions.

Scott Moe has made it clear - funding public education is not his priority.

From 2015 - 2020, public education received a pitiful 7% increase in funding while private education received an 88% increase in the same time period.

"We added $40M in funding" ... education is $400M short.

Since accepting the invitation to bargain, government has done nothing but stall, mislead the public and try to undermine our collective bargaining process. A timeline of events is as follows.

Today, they didn't even bother to show up.
