Since we have been talking about character traits all week, we worked on empathy today! Then we used play doh to create a prototype to solve Wemberly's problem. The hardest part was listening to HER needs and not making what WE think she needs. #STEAMatstribling

Today we talked about Mr. Luther King Jr and Civil rights. We used an egg demonstration to see why we should not judge others based on their appearance. #STEAMatstribling

We have been doing research and non fiction text features with penguins. Today, we did a blubber test to see how the penguins stay warm in the Arctic waters. We used a crisco glove and our bare hands. Their reactions were priceless. #STEAMatstribling
