A productive couple of D&T days focusing on textiles: Year 6 designed, made and evaluated their Victorian rag dolls. Some impressive blanket stitch and creative clothes, in-keeping with our historical theme. Thank you @sophiecran for you stitching expertise! @w_woodborough

Willow Class enjoyed a brilliant Victorian-themed trip to @WiltshireMuseum today! We handled artefacts, explored the displays and answered quiz questions, sketched Victorian items and made rag rugs, peg dolls and even tried quilling! Plus, we used the public bus @ConnectingWilts

Y6 had a poetry-tastic day for #NationalPoetryDay Exploring Refugee by @brian_bilston Writing Kennings on the theme of ‘This Is Me’ for the poetry competition @YoungWritersCW and taking part in some performance poetry 💫🤩🤗

Year 6 have continued to develop their investigative and enquiry skills in science this term through a series of mini experiments - observing, hypothesising, recording data, drawing graphs and summarising. @w_woodborough @equa_mat @abibarratt
