Our children kicked off the event holding the baton alongside the Bahamas 🇧🇸 and Scotland 🏴 flags!

Yesterday our school had a visit from Jonathan Paterson, Paralympic athlete and footballer for the Scotland national team. The children had a blast taking part in some fun activities before learning about how Jonathan got started in sports @CorpusChristi_K ⚽️
P1 are mastering using their skip counting in 1s, 5s and 10s to add up tally marks!🤔 We have been learning how to show a number as a tally and worked with a partner to test each other. We then used this knowledge to display and use information from a graph! @CorpusChristi_K
Breaking News!!🌪️🪄Today P1 listened to the story of the Wizard of Oz. This inspired some great talking and listening, asking and answering questions and role play before they retold the story in the form of a news report! I was so proud of their writing 🤩 @CorpusChristi_K

P2a have started to learn about fractions. We worked with our talk partners to spot the fractions from a range of images& were able to explain our answers. We got outside in the sun to enjoy our new novel&predict using clues from the front cover. Great week!

Last week we joined up with P7 for the RSPB’s Big Bird Watch🐦⬛🪺 First, we buddied up and made some bird food before placing it around our school grounds! Later, we went on a bird watch walk and spotted some amazing birds😄👀 Thank you P7 and @MissMcMillanCC@RSPBScotland
