After having two brand new @LochinvarLtd boilers in school, we have been having issues with them for a number of months and this is causing so much stress and frustration as we are being fobbed off. Can someone help resolve this please so our children can be warm in the autumn?

@Edmund_B_W For me and some others, it is also about an individuals who operate poorly and just under the radar within a corrupt and draconian system. Our experience makes it hard to separate the two.

@TTRadioOfficial I hear you @KrissiCarter about how you feel. 🤗 We had the same HMI in September 22 as Caversham and ended up RI…..the inspection crushed me and still is hard and I know that other heads in the same scenario feel similar. My heart goes out to Ruth’s family and community. ♥️

@Edmund_B_W Thank you for your detailed reports of the inquest. It’s been quite spine chilling to read how similar both schools were treated and, in some ways, quite triggering wishing I had made more of a stand about our experience. 😞

@Edmund_B_W In my feedback following the draft report I asked given the significant issue that was going on, why the inspection wasn’t paused or deferred as they could see it was a difficult time.
HMI response: No-one had approached him to request it therefore it could not be considered….

@GillianKeegan This pay rise is very much appreciated however, it is not fully funded as your email this afternoon suggests! Schools are struggling to balance budgets with increasing needs and then it’s suggested we should have already budgeted for the 3.5%! We need full funds!

@Headteacherchat Yes! In September 1996 it was me v a class of 36 year 3s with some quite challenging behaviour. All worked out very well in the end! Ofsted in my first year too and the school had had 6 months notice! I was also owed 13 days worth of NQT time at the end of the year…..

Two totally different and unique schools, two totally separate inspections….how can three of the AFI’s for both schools be identical?

@dave_mcpartlin Not enough! Not sure if a re-inspection after 3 months will place more stress on leaders. The grades must go and we need to head to a more supportive level of accountability.
