@JaneCaro We need men to stand up. Women asking questions or calling out is getting us no where. The people we are trying to reach do not respect women. Men, if you are reading this, it’s up to you to post, call out, ask questions.
@Lily_Warrior Thanks for sharing. It is an important lesson for all majority white/Anglo/European colonised/origin countries to understand that their countries are no longer exclusively white/Anglo/European.
It would be good if all countries were striving to be inclusive.
@MaryleboneTHLDN Congratulations to all the cast, crew and production team on a magnificent production. We are visiting from Australia and were keen to see some London theatre but wanted to make some less obvious choices. Absolutely blown away. Highly recommend.
@Kazz5b@JaneCaro Another Royal commission that can be ignored like the one into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody?? Are you kidding??
Royal Commissions are just a formal recognition of failures that no one really wants to be corrected.
I have no words for such moral deprivation.
Asked what he’ll now do for indigenous Australians Peter Dutton said that between now and the next election he’ll take advice from Jacinta Price and then formulate policies. One voice. One. Do you get the irony?
This Saturday, we have a chance to rewrite history.
A chance to make our Constitution make more sense.
To recognise 65 000 years of history.
And to make sure we keep listening, for better results.
Undecided 🤷🏾♀️ when you go to the polls today! It’s very simple. It’s correcting history. Acknowledge us First Nations peoples on the birth certificate of this country and giving us a voice on matters pertaining to us. Anything else is just rubbish 🙄🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
‘My daughter was there, she got it, she's 9.’ As Australia inches closer to Referendum Day, Rove explains why our First Nations People should be given a Voice to Parliament.
Strength to you all today as we help guide Australia to a Yes Vote.
Thank you my people who have continued this heavy lifting for so many years.
Thank the the many allies who continue to fight for indigenous rights.
We’re on the right side of History.

Referendums are a question of Principle. Detail is legislated in Parliament after the fact. Asking for more detail is a hole-in-the-bucket argument - you can never bring them enough. Its a deliberate tactic by the Opposition to derail Indigenous advancement.
These are the copies of the Const’n I have carried with me since I started teaching Constitutional law in 1993!
It’s clearly time for me to get a new copy but I also want a new copy with section 129 added in after a successful Yes vote!
