We really enjoyed using our tapas maths refresher course on Friday and couldn’t wait to share the activities with the children. Today, we were ambitious capable learners and really worked hard with improving our place value skills ⁦@MrsFreeman95⁩

What a spooky day in Dosbarth 5 from disco dancing to spooky challenges! We have been practising our woodworking skills using pumpkins, hammers and screwdrivers. What a fantastic day! @MrsHLeeY56

Today Dosbarth 5 were set a challenge to follow a set of instructions and work as a team to create a life size skeleton. The children showed resilience and excellent team work and correctly put together a skeleton and could identify the bones.🦴@MrsHLeeY56 @garntegprimary

Dosbarth 5 enjoyed a Autumnal leaf adventure and created some lovely leaf pictures 😀We talked about the size, shape and colours of the leaves, and discussed why they change colour this time of the year @MrsHLeeY56 @garntegprimary

Dosbarth 5 have been enjoying making Rice Krispie cakes 🧁 and enjoying eating them ! We have been raising lots of money for cancer research.😀🧁@MrsHLeeY56 @garntegprimary

Something amazing happened today in dosbarth 5… the arrival of 4 baby goldfish🐠🐠 we cannot wait to look after them and learn all about them🌟 thank you so much ⁦@misssjones95⁩ we have been mesmerised by these little beauties all day🐠🐠 ⁦@MrsFreeman95⁩

We started the day split into 2 groups- children with brown eyes and children with blue etc. Mrs Lee treated us differently and it made us feel upset, strange and confused. We were learning about “segregation”. We then read a story about Rosa Parks and understood some more.
