@Headteacherchat If only that were the case! Too much too down and ignoring of the EYFS statutory framework from people who don’t understand early years. Chn are empty vessels to pour so called facts and knowledge that governments deem needed. Let them play!

Teachers got their pay rise of 5.5 today. As they should. I’ve had a pay freeze for 8 years. I am happy for me. But not happy for TAs in school. When I daily see the lengths they go to, I rage for them. They deserve a HUGE pay rise. Particularly those who 1:1 children.
