Yesterday our newcomer students K-5th grade got to explore new classroom books and mantralingual pens that read to them in both English and Pashto! We had volunteers from ASTRA/ALTRUSA come read and introduce the stories to our students! Reading is a blast! @NISDLib @NISDMead

Snowflake Bentley was a huge success! The students at Mead Elementary learned about William Bentley and the first photographed snowflakes! In addition, the snowflakes they made created a winter wonderland in the library! @NISDLib
