So proud of my Form Class for getting their Antarctic flag design sent all the way to Antarctica to be photographed by scientists in the Rothera Research Station @UKPolarNetwork@fiona_616

Wow! It looks like Storm Agnes may form a sting jet overnight (circled) with modelled gusts reaching 120mph ๐ฑ
Thankfully these ferocious winds stay well out at sea with gusts around Irish Sea coasts Wednesday around 60 to 75mph - still strong enough for some disruption.
Iโm walking the West Highland Way & while I love open water swimming, the dangers are always there. Thereโs a sandy ledge, shown by the light brown colour but it very quickly becomes deep. Loch Lomond can be 190m at itโs deepest, so always better to be cautious!! #whw#geography
Iโm always amazed when I visit countries that have adapted to suit the environment. Living in mountainous regions is difficult & they remain sparsely populated, but the engineering behind making these regions more accessible is incredible #geography#geographyteacher#frenchalps
