Toothpaste Activity! Students were told to try and get all the toothpaste back in the bottle, when they realize it’s impossible- they connected this to the way they speak to others, you can’t take words back, So Be kind 💕🫶

Leadership experience for our 8th graders! Got to hear from Ted Wiese, a nationally known speaker and meet some of their future WHS classmates! Fun stuff!💙

We had a visit from the Watauga High Country Therapy Dogs and our kids did a lesson on self-control with him. They were able to see the importance of self-control and also practice with Cooper, the sweetest dog ever! 🐶💚

Learned to write a check in our life skills class and the kiddos got to take a field trip to the store and use their “check,” for a snack 😎☀️

7th graders got to visit Caldwell Community college today and learn about their awesome programs! They also got to do an egg hunt & one of them got the golden egg prize — Peeps!🐰☺️ what a fun morning!

Our middle school students got the chance to learn about GEAR UP summer opportunities! So many fun summer camps being offered! I am a huge advocate for camp, so I'm crossing my fingers our kiddos go! 🤩🏕️🥾
