Started our new year by reading Dr. Seuss books searching for economic terms and concepts #lctigerpride

#engsschat A7: I have been in the habit of reading "regular" books. Now, I am searching the library database with all of your recommendations. Thank you!

[Mrs. G @MrsGilbertsonLC]

#engsschat A6: I can not and have not heard of any push-back from including graphic novels in the classroom. I am interested to see if any one has...

[Mrs. G @MrsGilbertsonLC]

@MrBarltrop @tryingteacher @historycomics A4: As someone who has 10th graders, thank you!! #engsschat

[Mrs. G @MrsGilbertsonLC]

#engsschat A3: I try my best to differentiate instructional practices as often as possible. Doing the same thing every day in class is boring for the students... and me.

[Mrs. G @MrsGilbertsonLC]

#engsschat Q2: Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales. I have had 5th grades who loved reading these!

[Mrs. G @MrsGilbertsonLC]

#engsschat A1: I was never a child who loved to read comic books. As I became a teacher, I see students reach for graphic novels more than a traditional novel. I can not wait to see what/how you use them in class!

Janet Yellen is concerned the US-China trade war may end the longest economic expansion in American history. "I have to say, the odds of a recession are higher than normal and at a level I'm really frankly not comfortable with." https://t.co/4ty4n2tPGc

[Mrs. G @MrsGilbertsonLC]

@MsLisson @SiriSensei I could easily use this in class, thanks! #EDUC6420

[Mrs. G @MrsGilbertsonLC]

@MsLisson @SiriSensei Thanks for sharing, Brianne! There are so many great ideas I can implement in my classroom.
