To become a better 21st century teacher I would like to incorporate more collaborative work using Office 365 for my students next year. I would also like to try to use Class Notebook.

Some innovative ideas I tried this year: learning coding with @ParrotDrones and @SpheroEdu , incorporating #MinecraftEdu into some of my lessons, students creating presentations with Sway. Time to start thinking of new innovative ideas for next year. #ReflectiveTeacher

Day 7:
Some important skills needed by students to be successful are: the ability to problem solve and learn work well together. It was a struggle getting students to work with a partner if it wasn't their "friend".

Most of my PLTW lessons reflected the 21st century learner. Students were required to work together to create solutions to real world problems.

Students had fun while learning to code! They designed and built an obstacle course then had to code the drone to fly through it @Parrot @RHJH_Bobcats

Day 2: My least effective lesson was one that involved poor planning. I didn't take the time I needed to plan and prepare. Students were not engaged, or were confused and I wasted a lot of time trying to help individual students and re-explain the lesson. #reflectiveteacher

My most effective lessons were the ones where students were actively engaged. Students learn by doing, not just by hearing. They had fun designing, building and coding and did not even realize they were problem solving skills and using computational thinking. #ReflectiveTeacher
