@ProudlyPastoral That was actually my role at my previous school. I worked 86 hours a week. I was also phase lead and Maths lead on top of that, oh, and staff governor too! I left the school at the end of the year and now working as a UPS teacher, with a small pay cut but much better hours.
Classroom observation tells us very little about teaching , apart from as a snapshot of that moment on that day. We’ve moved away from observation as they are a pretty invalid way of judging what’s going on beyond the surface.
Yet Ofsted seem to have stepped back in time
