2nd graders started their new unit in W&W- Healthy Foods/Bodies! To start our unit, students looked at pictures to decide what food group it would belong to. Each student had a role in their group, had great discussions and fun…sure made us hungry! @hnhuskies @olatheschools

Today, I went to Walnut Grove to celebrate my kdg teacher at CS (from 96-97’) retiring! 44 years in education, and 43 of them have been in kdg! Wow! If you know Mrs. Hulse, she’ll be greatly missed and has touched SO many lives! Thanks for inspiring me to be a teacher! 🩷

Chapter 34- Thankful to see another year. 🩷💐☀️ Ben made orange rolls this morning, flowers bloomed outside and getting a blueberry green sweet tea before we do fun things today, and have dinner with my family for Mother’s Day and birthday celebration for mom and I. 🩷
