This week, we learned that January 4th is World Braille Day! π€ We had a very special peer help teach us how she uses her letter tiles and Brailler to spell and write. We also spent time learning about people who are blind, writing our names in Braille, and playing Braille games.
Yesterday was my very first student teacherβs last day! π₯Ή We sure are going to miss Miss Geesaman. She set the bar high for any future student teacher that walks through my door next. We are so glad that we were a part of her teaching adventure. πβοΈπ
Today we had our Christmas party with lots of goodies and hot cocoa- hands down, my favorite time of the year and I even had my homemade hot cocoa earrings to match! πͺπ₯¨βοΈ We had so much fun eating and chatting that I forgot to take pictures of two classes. π€¦π»ββοΈ
My student teacher, Miss Geesaman, introduced us to our next reading topic- following directions in order step by step. Our next story is about how to blow bigger bubbles so we had to practice today! π«§
