@BakerElem#physed holiday favorite!
Battleship to practice our throwing skills! Students loved the challenge of not being able to see their target! On the TV we had a scoreboard counting down the pins for each side and they loved watching the numbers decrease. #yoeagles#RRPE
Found this modified Spike Ball game for 3-5 called King/Queen of the Court! The King/Queen serves the ball, the game continues until a student misses the ball, double hit, or doesn’t hit the ball inside the hoop. Great instructional video I found here: https://t.co/qenWVfTRc0
Partner Paddle Battle. Keep both feet in your hoop while keeping the balloon in the air. If a balloon touches the floor, say “Good game” and find another partner to play. Major thanks to @physedreview for this idea. #sdinpe#physed
Copycat. Students create a 5 beat dribble pattern and their partner copies it. Some of my students got creative and added claps and spins! This isn’t a fancy game but it works for the last 10mins of class!
👻 Ghostbusters👻
Ss are working on rolling in #physed today. Capture the ghost (pin) with the proton stream (hoop) and bring it back to the ghost trap (cone). Most ghosts captured wins.
Break the Chain. New throwing & catching skills game. Complete explanation coming soon. Can be played with a variety of types balls for students success. #PhysEd#gamification
