Teach Me Tuesday! Each week we have a new "teacher" showing our class how to do something that interests them. We've learned how to fish properly, make clay models, learn a new language and even how to use a communication device. I love learning from them! @MrsRogers113
Our 5th grade patrols for the months of November and December have worked hard to keep our hallways safe and continue to present themselves as positive leaders in the building. Congratulations to these students!

We had the jolliest time with our Kindergarten buddies today! Ss helped craft gingerbread houses and even played reindeer games in PE. Thank you for having us! @Parkerinkinder@seiwertkinder @#euclidexplores
A fun-filled week in 5th! Ss worked together to evaluate expressions in Math, utilized their free choice time with fun activities, and were greeted with a guest reader from a member of TataSteel. Thank you @TataSteelLtd for our books! #euclidexplores
Reviewing for a test and skills learned during the week is best done when collaborating together. We played Jeopardy with teams to review for a Geography Test and during W.I.N. time we reviewed our measurement conversions while playing Kahoot as a whole group. #euclidexplores
A fun activity to practice being attentive listeners. Ss were given a clear direction and needed to watch and listen to one other in order to go through all the steps successfully. We practiced a few times and had some good laughs #euclidexplores
This week we worked on establishing clear routines before starting our "Words Their Way" word study groups next week. Ss played a variety of review games for our "Game Day" #euclidexplores
A busy week before winter break! A fun STEM challenge with our Reading Buddies, testing for furthest distance with our sleighs, a movie evening as a reward for the 5th grade patrols and making fun winter themed holiday crafts for our families 🌲☃️ #euclidexplores@AlyPalicki
Enjoying the beautiful autumn views from our classroom. Ss are diving into their partner reading books and took time to share their thinking while reflecting on their weekly stop and jots #euclidexplores
The 5th graders cherishing their last Walk-a-thon! Thank you Euclid PTC for all the fun. Ss were able to reflect on what they have control over in our SEL lesson and moved around the room for some division review. #euclidexplores
Learning outside the box. Fifth graders sharing out their different strategies for our Math Talk, reflecting on our weekly Reading Stop and Jots, and molding one another in our SEL lesson to portray what being aggressive, passive, and assertive would look like. #euclidexplores
