@VioletAnnie1970@tes Absolutely this! My attainment is instantly capped when I openly welcome children with complex SEN who, no matter how excellent our provision is, will not meet those national benchmarks.
@NewHeadteacher Exactly this! So tired yet been awake at 5am each day and up by 6am. I always allow the first few days to clear my emails and write a long to do list for September - helps to clear my mind!
@RogersHistory I think so, if they get nominated. I suppose the difficulty for a HT would be how to choose who to nominate. There are some Sencos on this years list.
@kateowbridge We haven’t been able to tell our staff this year yet either. Last year we could. It’s all dependent on staffing circumstances each year. Your report system sounds great - I’m not quite so brave!
@profprofMFL Yes, the DfE advice is such but teachers aren’t obliged to say. However, your HT isn’t responsible for the mess education is in so why wouldn’t you tell them to allow them to plan as much as possible for the children on these days 🤷♀️
In celebration of national #ThankATeacher day, I'm giving away this teacher hamper. Retweet to be in with a chance to win. Winner announced 26/5/22. Good luck 📚
Such a lovely way to end the term in 2WA @CrossleyFields by sharing anonymous positive messages with each other! Words are so powerful and the children felt so proud reading what others in the class thought about them! #futurebehaviour#PositiveVibes#positivity#edutwitter
