The result of two year’s focused effort in creating a purposeful, curated, wide-ranging classroom library and giving time to read what they choose? Over 500 books read by students this year.
Researching Refugee taught me that no matter the time or place, no matter what drove them from their homes, all refugee journeys have one thing in common: HOPE. Hope that they will finally find a new home where they will be safe and can rebuild their lives. #WorldRefugeeDay
