Now that I'm expecting a baby, every other social media platform suggests lovely baby ads. But twitter feels the need to suggest accounts from people who have lost their babies, and that is the only change in content from before. Really not good for my mental health.
One of the most frequently jarring things I see from people talking about education is people using the terms 'SEN' and 'low ability' as interchangeable or synonymous phrases.
SEN does not mean 'low ability'.

@MrMcofficial86 Omg, during a deep dive, SLT and the subject lead said they liked an element of my planning so much they had me present it at a staff meeting with examples from books. All admiring etc. The feedback from said to no longer do it in books π
I think it's really interesting that even in places where they acknowledge that a practical lesson needs fewer children, ks2 has no limits.
