Finally getting around to reading “The Gift of Story” by @MrSchuReads. Thinking about “Story as Healer” I so wish some educators would take more seriously the importance of positive school culture and climate. It’s the foundation upon which all else is built.

I gifted a very special student a copy of “This Is A School” on behalf of @MrSchuReads. He came to us in kindergarten from West Africa and our school has become a real home for him. He was shocked when I told him he could keep it! 💙
