Debate: Sunak on state pension is very misleading. The state pension will not be taxed for the first time in history because it is already taxed and 1.6million people had a state pension last year that is more than the personal tax allowance of £242 a week. This year it’s more.
5yo made a @burstofbeaden inspired book at school as ‘I Want My Hat Back’ is on their reading spine. ‘I have not seen your friend I was too busy reading a book’. My work here is done 😅❤️
@clhubes In the UK you order the cakes online, pay on pickup which you choose a time for. Last one wasn’t there, without a beat to consider the lie we were told was being finished off. Saw her decorate it from plain white, was like watching an artist though!
@bernadette67_a@jessphillips @JosTrust Maybe not where you live but different people have different experiences! It has absolutely been the norm for me.
@bernadette67_a@jessphillips @JosTrust Our medical centre has so few appointments available it has literally taken me months to book one, both pre and post covid. They don’t have a waiting list you have to call weekly. What a weird thing to decide to take someone to task on.
.@NeilDotObrien I've responded to @DefraGovUK sandeel consultation to support a ban on industrial trawling for this important fish in English waters. Please lend your support and help save our globally threatened seabirds who rely on sandeels to survive. #SaveOurSeabirds
If I was worried about people comparing me to 1930s Germany, my next move probably wouldn't be to shut down all criticism on the national broadcasting service
@flossymcgrew @PregnantScrewed I pay one of mine by debit card and the other by BACS with the reference number. Only a helpful tip for those with just two children, and those who can factor in a couple of days between paying in and making the payment out.
@CrimeGirI And seeing the nursery is phoning you and just knowing you’ll soon be off to fetch them for a non-existent by the time you get home temperature.
@rhiannonlucyc Hairy Maclarys are often in The Works’ 10 for £10. There’s another nice one in that at the moment, A Recipe for Playtime. For book shop vouchers: just read Counting Creatures (Julia Donaldson) and it is so visually beautiful I must buy more illustrated by Sharon King-Chai!
@AudreyTrapolsi@clhubes My three year old used to wake her sister up. We’d have a big conversation about what we could do while the baby slept, talk about being quiet when we got home, I’d shut the front door and she would shout, sing, or *need* something noisy, or from under the pram.
@SisterShawnRM So my only experience here is that I hypnobirthed twice. Can hypnosis offered on the day do anything if you aren’t sold on it to start with? Never mind in this scenario of 10/10. I prepared for months! Genuine question laced with outrage!
