Yesterday and today my virtual classes had our Oscar Award Ceremony. Everyone unmuted their microphones in order to drum roll and applaud for their peers 🥁👏🏼 It was SO fun!

Yesterday’s block 1 winners for the 2020 Suspense Trailer Oscar Awards! These kiddos worked extra hard on their projects and were recognized by their peers to win an Oscar (some even won two!) Well done 👏🏼

It’s the week of Halloween, which means Suspense Movie Trailers! 🌒🎃☠️

We kicked off the 2nd quarter with students learning about suspense and how to create suspense in their writing. S’s are now writing their own suspense movie trailer. I love seeing their creativity! 📝💭
