Primary 4 have been working on self portraits. We have started our woodland topic. This week we have made trees for our wall display using a variety of media.

P4 have been looking at spiders and how they construct their webs. Using our STEM skills, we were able to reconstruct their web shapes using wool in class and then we went on a web hunt and used outdoor natural materials to create our own spider shapes. A webtastic day!

We are working on creating a library for adults in our community. We delivered posters to advertise this in our local community. Donations of books for grown ups would be welcome. Please send books to school with your child. #Readingschools

We have been learning about air resistance. This afternoon we made parachutes to test the air resistant qualities of different materials.

This week Primary 5 have been learning about the life of a knight. We have made life size paintings. We have also explored Heraldry and designed our own coat of arms.

Today we have been learning about coding. We have written algorithms to programme the probots to draw shapes.
