So many skills being embedded and consolidated in our βFloodβ project. Learners have been collaborating online to draft and finalise their flood proof homes after researching the best designs. We canβt wait to build them and test them against the elements π¨ππ¦
What better way to consolidate learning than an escape room π€―π They all escaped in time to have their lunch, some with just 42 seconds to go! Timer and suspense music were set and brains ticked over to remember all they could about the circulatory system! What a success ππ»
Y5s loved making heart models in STEM this week. They could demonstrate how the heart pumps oxygenated blood around the body and how the valve closes so blood canβt escape back through. This generated some amazing subject specific vocabulary and a great hands on experience π
What a great day for my year 5s Thur- we got to experience first hand what a real heart looks like (and stick their fingers into the valvesπ€’). They were able to identify the main features, some were shocked that a real heart didnβt quite look like a love heart ππ€£
My bag is all ready to go for the morning where I will meet my new class for the first time as I begin my NQT journey. Never been so excited in my life but so so nervous at the same time π¬π Lets do this πͺπΌππ₯°
@MissPerry_NQT I would say if itβs interactive and to be used frequently then laminate it, but if it is just for visual purposes and not likely to be touched then not to laminate. Also if at lower height I would laminate as these can get brushed up against and spoiled too easily π
@MissHopkinsUSW If anyone can do it you can and hopefully youβll find your dream school in the process β€οΈ some good tips on https://t.co/zHHcbh26CZ Xx
