Admin, in 2020 look to your staff to take on leadership roles & responsibilities. This doesn’t make you lazy or weak but it makes you look confident in yourself & your team. The business world thrives by this mindset, but in education we think it’s weak. It’s just weak thinking

Can any of my PLN share how their schools have dealt with a shortage of funds to cover subs? Have your schools found effective ways to move away from using subs?

@AshCashmore @DrBradJohnson @inner_moonlight This is the key!! Accountability that includes a presupposed trust and confidence in teachers’ ability to make decision about their classrooms. Good teachers want to be accountable...it makes us better...but we don’t want to be micromanaged.
