Kids don't plan to come to school to get into trouble. Behaviour is a form of communication and quite often - the reason for it will make you sad, not angry.

[Mrs. Kincaid @MrsKincaid1]

“Everyone is speaking their own language…communication is a nightmare”- a poetic evaluation from one of my freshman today

[Brad Weinstein @WeinsteinEdu]

We shouldn't start preparing kids for college when they are 5. We should be helping them learn to be a good friend, play with others, and love learning.

@burdenc09 @BrianBratt1 And schoology has a function which allows them to search for stuff too

[Mrs. Kincaid @MrsKincaid1]

@burdenc09 Except for that fun little dance move you did the other day

[Mrs. Kincaid @MrsKincaid1]

@burdenc09 What a compliment. I’ll take it

One of my freshman: “Can I take this short story home so I can take more in-depth notes and really analyze it?”
Proud teacher moment

#VBStaffMusic - Day 1 was Ms. Burden - Kings and Queens by Ava Max (See video on Schoology).
Here’s another chance! For tomorrow, this staff member said the song was their favorite in 5th and 6th grade and their favorite genre of music was between the year 2000-2010.

[Kevin Shoup @VanBuren_HS]

#VBStaffMusic Our first staff member chose a current song that is their favorite. Additionally, they wanted you to know, they have been to Europe. Can you guess who this staff member is? We will play their song tomorrow (5/20) as we transition periods.
