Over the past few weeks, so many people have reached out to offer their help and support. Every message, every kind word and every offer of assistance has meant more than I can ever express.
Today, I’m taking you up on that offer. 1/2

7. Thank you for standing with us. We are not asking for blame or politics. We are asking for transparency, accountability and the truth—for my parents, for the other families who lost loved ones, and for everyone affected.
5. If you’re willing to help, please:
• Send the attached letter to your local MP (feel free to personalise it if you wish).
• Share this post with your friends, family, colleagues and wider networks. The more people who see it, the more letters will be sent.
4. Our voices are always stronger together. If enough MPs hear from their constituents, the UK Government is far more likely to take notice and lend its support. One letter can make a difference—but hundreds of letters can make it impossible to ignore.
3. We are simply asking for the truth. Families who have lost loved ones deserve answers, and the public deserves confidence that lessons will be learned.
2. I have attached a template letter that you can send to your local MP. It asks them to raise this matter with the Foreign Secretary and to support the British families affected in calling on the Spanish Government to ensure there is a full, transparent and fair investigation.
This is a matter close to my heart. Thomas lost his father in the same wildfire that took my parents. 14 people died in the Bedar/Los Gallardos fire, and their families deserve to know the truth.

550 years ago, English got hit by a linguistic disaster.
The printing press arrived and “froze” English spelling…
And then everyone started speaking totally differently.
Here’s how one sound change ruined English spelling — and why we’re still suffering the consequences 🧵
Prof Stephen Reicher, "I would appeal to you to not call these people protestors. They're not protestors"
"To call them protestors is profoundly misleading. It is to discredit a long tradition of perfectly legitimate and peaceful and important protest that has made our society better in many ways"
"What's going on is specific to these crowds.. Crowd psychology is there when people are cleaning up the streets as well as attacking the streets.. The difference is one group has an ideology of hate and violence, another has a vision of community and solidarity"
"Most people are pro immigration.. The irony is that over recent years attitudes towards immigration has become more positive.. People see immigrants as a boom rather than as a menace to the country.. Britain is one of the more liberal countries"
"If we didn't have migrants then our care service would fall apart, our NHS would fall apart.. It's important not to highlight the negative exceptions, but to show that most people are pro migrants"
@LauraLolder I would be interested in other research. My daughter has a wobble cushion and her teachers have said it helps her immensely to sit and complete class work. She has had fidget toys but they acted as a distraction for her personally.
At least two competitors in the Olympics have DSD. They & the IOC have followed the official rules & have been included in female categories. They are not men, they are living with DSD. It is both ignorant & cruel to attack them for who they are.
In DSD the person may have male or female chromosomes but have reproductive organs of the opposite sex.
The NHS has an overview of DSD: https://t.co/tp2jEaOE6A
