We had fun celebrating Diwali today!🎆🎉 #Kinders learned and shared about the Festival of Lights as well as the art of Rangoli. We collaborated on our own rangoli using the annotate tool to color together. It's the process not the product that matters most ❤ @OneWattles

#Kinders loving their new writing tools! Using a pathways chart to practice all those tricky lowercase letters. Young kids excel w/ scaffolds to create independent literacy skills! Bonus that it allows the teacher time to get zoomies/roomies settled in the morning 😆 @OneWattles

I ❤ when authors share how their stories come to be! Kids have the best ideas, but can get discouraged when their work doesn't meet their own expectations and just settle for easy. So valuable for Ss to see that publishing isn't synonymous w/perfection on attempt 1 or even #25.

@ms_fragomeni @MrGermansky @wyatt_seth @TammyDiPonio Yes! This is what I have been doing with my kinders this week. Classroom desktop for videos and breakout rooms. IPad for sound, video, and doc cam. Then gallery view on my smart board with a wireless mouse on the rolling cart. Sounds like a mouthful but it's actually magic!

Sid and I had a lot of fun reading a learn about the world book today with our #kinders. We learned that readers use the pictures AND the words to learn about our books! Now we know that sloths are related to armadillos and and anteaters, not monkeys!! @TCRWP @OneWattles
