Consider each stride as having 3 equal parts:⁠
1️⃣You ACCELERATE over the first third⁠ (don't start off sprinting)⁠
2️⃣You HOLD your ALMOST top speed in the middle third⁠ (not sprint! About 90-95% of total effort)
3️⃣You DECELERATE over the final third⁠!

This morning on Staten Island NYC, Francine Miller from @bayviewacademy raced in the Nike Indoor Nationals in the Emerging Elite 400M. She ran a great race and set a new indoor personal best of 1:02:88!
