@FakeHeadteacher Well what ever school has staff going into the end of the day to have a “quiet drink” I want to work there!! Because let me tell you now….as a teacher when I finish after a 10 hour minimum day all I want to do is sleep! And I have kids of my own to think about!!!!!!

So on the final countdown to beginning my new career as an NQT! Anxiety is creeping in. Will I be good enough? Will I plan exciting lessons? Will the children like me? Will I assess correctly? The answer to these is probably not all the time..and that’s ok! #learning #reflecting

But if we don’t test the children how can we possibly compare ourselves to other countries, then put new procedures into place that increase teacher workload which causes mental health issues for both teachers and students to better our scores so we can say we’re better?? #notest

Today I enjoyed my transition day with my new little ones....but my day was made even better by achieving a 2:1 in Primary Education with QTS. Not bad conserving I’m a mum to two children, wife, friend and worked part time during my degree #ificandoitsocanyou
