@baseballmaven1@superninerfan74@FoxNews Vaccines were invented in the 15th century. The modern version was created in 1796. And people substitute the word shot, for vaccine every day. I’ve always heard “tetanus shot” and it is literally and always has been, a vaccine.
@baseballmaven1@superninerfan74@FoxNews You can say: polio shot, polio vaccine and polio inoculation. It is all used interchangeably. Flu vaccine, flu inoculation and flu shot: It’s the substance, action and application, respectively. Immunity is the response to that series of events. Immunity level varies.
@baseballmaven1@superninerfan74@FoxNews Flu shots have always been vaccines. They vary in efficacy because we can’t always predict which flu strain will be most dominant. The Covid vaccine works the same due to mutations. You are absolutely incorrect that they had not been referred to as vaccines until recently.
@baseballmaven1@superninerfan74@FoxNews There is absolutely no vaccine, now or in the past, that has 100% efficacy. This is how vaccines have always worked.
@superninerfan74@baseballmaven1@FoxNews Vaccine efficacy has always depended on the virus. That’s why some require boosters& others don’t. It’s been that way since we began giving vaccines. You have to understand the microorganisms involved, immunology & the use of cell culture techniques for the propagation of viruses
@Shannon02905950@DrNeilStone Like many cancers and autoimmune diseases, it’s probably a combination of genetics and environmental factors. It’s not easily understood and it’s certainly not caused by one thing only.
@katieomalley@YahooCare@Yahoo@yahoomail The three dots under your folders takes you to where you can click on settings and then you scroll down and switch to basic mail
@YahooCare@horrorinspace The new email UX is terrible. You can barely read who an email is from unless the text is small and that’s not helpful for those of us who need bigger fonts. Overall, it’s just too busy with “priority” besides some subject lines. I don’t need tabs, I use folders.
