Today we were introduced to Math Max and @MathMax_andMrsB! We learned what math is and we built our community by showing everyone in our class that we can be mathematicians. It’s going to be a great year full of math fun!

Happy #firstdayofschool! Today I welcomed 20 new polar bear cubs to Kindergarten. I even had a special cheering squad from my own little polar bear at home. We are looking forward to a great year at SME! 🐻‍❄️💜🤍

@MathMax_andMrsB The kiddos had fun counting by 10s! Some had more circles on their papers then others depending on how many seeds they dug out. They had the best time 😊

It’s pumpkin investigation day! We weighed our pumpkin, tested whether it would sink or float, measured the circumference with paper clips and the height with cubes. Our favorite part was counting the 567 seeds! Happy Halloween! 🎃#BecomeBelongBeNorthern #SMERides
