Almost 2 months ago I found an ootheca (a praying mantis egg sac) outside, attached to a stick on the ground. We brought it inside with the hope of watching it hatch. We almost gave up hope but look what happened! @WestgateWolves @LindsaySkene @Miss_J_Piazza

Sometimes we put out materials and have a hard time predicting how students will use them. We have intention and hopes, but we let go of control and allow the children to be in charge. When we allow them to lead the play, the learning that emerges is so authentic.⁦⁦
