“ When a Clown moves into the Palace, he doesn’t become a King, The Palace becomes a Circus” is a Turkish proverb which is worth heeding in the coming days.
sleepy joe you’ve got two months. go crazy. eliminate all student debt. legalize marijuana. make tampons and condoms free. ban cybertrucks. shit in the oval office’s air vent. kidnap barron. the world is your oyster buddy
Paul Weller called Starmer out as being no better than the Tories.
Here now Paul Weller asks of genocide all that matters:
“I would ask you one question. There is no grey area. Are you for genocide or are you against it.”
It is that simple.

When I was in high school, I started to notice something about my best friend, Wanda. She was sad at school, and there were times when she didn’t want to go home.
One day, I asked Wanda if everything was all right, and she confided in me that she was being sexually abused by her stepfather. I immediately told her she had to come live with us. I called my mother, and my mother said, “Of course she does.”
And so Wanda did.
Wanda’s story is one of the reasons I wanted to become a prosecutor. As a courtroom prosecutor, I felt a deep sense of responsibility to take on crimes and harms against women and children. When I had a case, I charged it not in the name of the victim but in the name of the people for one simple reason: In our system of justice, a harm against any one of us is a harm against all of us.
Through all my decades in law enforcement, I never asked a victim or a witness, “Are you a Republican or a Democrat?” The only question I ever asked was, “Are you okay?” That is the kind of president we deserve, and that is the kind of president I pledge to be.
As president, I will fight to protect our fundamental freedoms and make sure everyone has a right to safety, dignity, and justice.
For those who don't know, this is Andrea Cisternino. He lives in Ukraine. He is staying with his 400 rescue dogs and has stated he would rather die with them than leave them and is continuing to help those dogs that have been left behind. Such a brave man ❤️👏
I found big Larry 2.5 weeks ago on the streets of Thailand.
He’s incredibly thin and has been refusing most food. He’s been a complete mystery as all tests have been clear.
I think we might be making some progress in the last 48 hours… (1/10) 🧵
This was how I first discovered Snickers up in a jungle shack here in Thailand.
After a year on the streets she has been with us for 48 hours safe.
Today she was learning how to be a normal dog without any worries about survival… (1/8) 🧵

Pictures of a deadly blaze in Gaza - caused by an Israeli strike on a hospital tent camp - have shocked the world this week.
Information about victims has started to emerge - this is what we know about Shaban al Dalu.
This is my good friend Shaq. He’s a very happy street dog in Thailand who we fixed up last year.
I spotted that he had some issues a couple of days ago so he’s come back in for some serious R&R.
I’m hopeful we can fix him up real good again… (1/8) 🧵
Exactly one month ago I came across this very sorry dog who was living in a temple.
I didn’t appreciate how bad she actually was at first glance.
She is called Butterscotch and it’s hard to believe how spectacular she looks and feels today… (1/8) 🧵
The Israeli 🇮🇱 army has ordered the evacuation of 3 hospitals in Northern Gaza 🇵🇸 before they then bomb them to rubble.
This is the ICU for Kamal Adwan Hospital.
It is full of children barely alive after Israeli 🇮🇱 attacks.
It’s genocide.
I see Boris Johnson’s new book is full of self-serving justifications of his behaviour during #Partygate.
Please read this Guardian letter from 2022 - & never forgive, never forget that man’s reprehensible contempt for the people he governed 💔
For the past year, millions of us around the world have made repeated, desperate calls for a ceasefire. We demanded an end to the genocide. We warned of a disastrous regional conflict.
We were ignored.
Governments have fuelled the machinery of war. Their indifference to human life has destroyed prospects for peace and endangered us all.
All of this violence was entirely avoidable. Without urgent de-escalation, more unimaginable horror is on the horizon.
It’s time to listen to the voices of ordinary people across the globe calling for peace.
That means ending the root cause of this appalling cycle of violence: the occupation of Palestine.
