P7 @CockenziePS loved their festive movie treat this morning. We watched 'The Polar Express' while eating popcorn, a pretty good Thursday morning indeed ππ π
P7A @CockenziePS have been enjoying visits to the community library over the past couple of weeks. It's been wonderful to get back out into the community, and the children loved being #curious about all the books on offer. We were even able to take a book away to enjoy! π
Introducing our new school houses: Gosford, Hailes, Seton and Winton. Thanks to all our pupils and families for voting and congratulations again to Lucia, Hali and Allie for their winning design ideas! #curious#positive#successful#respectful
The Bikeability trainers had so many wonderful things to say about our P6 and P7s. The trainers spoke so positively about the superb attitudes, listening skills and progress made in the Bikeability programme. Very proud Head Teacher #elcoutdoorlearning#bikeability#successful
School Houses are making a comeback to our school π₯³Our first Family Home Learning task is to name and design logos for our new school houses. Check Google Classroom or below for more info. We can't wait to see your ideas! #successful
P7 @CockenziePS were #successful in using talking partners and whole class discussion today to consider 'The size of the problem'. This helps us regulate our responses when faced with daily, weekly or bigger life challenges, as part of our wider work on 'The Zones of Regulation'.
I am so incredibly proud of my new P7s, and of the school community @CockenziePS as a whole today who have been so #positive in their return to school. It'll be a wonderful year ahead! π
