Teaching high school is like having 160 little brothers and sisters—whose papers you have to grade and who you have to constantly tell to get off their phones, and I wouldn’t want to do anything else. But if I do choose to do something else, it’s definitely not because of them.
I know three ladies who were named Teacher of Year at their school yesterday. All three grew up in the Rowan-Salisbury School System and are now making a difference in this school system. Having an investment in your community makes all the difference. @RSSchoolsNC
