Today we did a STEM project as a culminating activity to our study of Ancient Egypt. We mummified hot dogs after learning about the steps of the mummification process. We will check in 10 days to see how they turned out! #d109pride

A few weeks ago we culminated our Nonfiction chapter book unit by making dioramas. I was super impressed with how nicely these turned out. The students did all the work in class! #d109pride

We started some Character Autopsies today! The students had a fun time peeling back the layers of a character we have been studying throughout our unit.

Happy New Year! We had a wonderful glow day in 6th grade. We know our students will glow in the new year! Thank you to @MsZemaitis for planning such a fun and educational day. Kudos to Ms. Douglas for getting in on the fun and planning a glow painting activity for art today!
