Teachers, I want to send signed copies of my I Survived books to your special students. I have fifty books I will be giving away, 10 per week for the next five weeks. To participate, RT. I will choose ten people each Sunday and contact privately.
Hello everyone! Read aloud #6 of I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic is up. Many shout outs! Let me know who would like one for tomorrow. ❤️https://t.co/RwsSybVux3
Lauren Tarshis, the author of the I Survived Series is doing a read aloud on her YouTube page. I love how she suggests that students write about what is happening to them right now - because this is now going to be part of history! https://t.co/pcYlw9U4rk

My brother in law & niece drew a design for a bird house & then actually built it together! THAT is what I wish all children had the opportunity to do right now 😔 #realworldlearning#COVIDー19#education

@DockRogersNC@DonorsChoose I’m a teacher, I don’t currently have a #donorschoose project but I just wanted you to know you are hero; to both teachers and our students. Thank you SO much for all the support. It means more than you will ever know.
Did this literally the night before school started 😳 1 scholar walked in the next day bright and early & excited because he knew exactly where his seat was (saw his name tag). Not sure if others watched but that made it totally worth it 😊
It's time for my annual back-to-school tip --
Record a "classroom tour" video & post it online for incoming students to view. Let them glimpse your room & hear your voice. Imagine the impact this can have on students who are anxious about starting a new school year. #EduInfluence
While I support technology infused instruction, flexible seating, fine arts, STEM, robots, music and painting, and devices to present them, students need books to read. Lots of books and lots of time to read them.
