A reminder that the Summer Fayre is this Friday (26th May) ☀️ P7s have been busy with the preparations this week and look forward to welcoming the whole school to visit the stalls throughout the day and parents/carers from 2pm 😄

This week we enjoyed a lacrosse masterclass with the queen of lacrosse @ASC_Jen 👸🏼🥍 We had so much fun learning how to play. Thank you Jen! 😁

[P4C 2022/23 & Mrs Coull @MrsLCoullHPS]

P4A and P4C will be selling ice lollies on Wed 24th and Thurs 25th of May and Thurs 1st and Fri 2nd of June at breaktime for 50p to raise funds for our trip. The weather is to be nice so cool off with a lolly! Yum yum!

The Hallglen Hawks were outstanding and made it all the way to the final today! We may have missed out on this year’s trophy, but we are over the moon to be returning to school tomorrow with our runners-up medals. I’m so incredibly proud of this amazing team! 🥹♥️ GO HAWKS! 🦅🏀

P7 are pleased to announce the return of Break The Rules Day this Friday to raise funds for the end of Primary 7 activities.

Pupils can also break one additional rule decided by their class.

Please note: All other school rules apply & any food brought in must be NUT FREE.

We also visited the museum to learn more about the daily lives of Victorians. We learned how they cooked, washed and repaired their clothes and keep themselves clean. Although we had fun we were glad to be returning to 2023 at the end of the experience! 😂

Today we headed into Edinburgh to visit The Victorian Classroom. We travelled back in time to 1897 to experience a day in the life of a Victorian student.. 👩🏻‍🏫

It didn’t take long before Miss Ingram showed us the belt and some brave volunteers stepped up to demonstrate! 🫢
