Well done to @BlairgowrieHS student Mika, who was one of 2 runners up in the @gsc1#MakeitHappen competition which was open to pupils across Scotland. The competition was to invent an app to solve a problem in #STEM. Mika designed an app to help deaf people play music.
Mrs Mitchell and our S3 students had a fantastic morning at the @AbertayUni Digital Graduate Show. A wonderful chance for @BlairgowrieHS pupils to find out about the student experience and try out some of the project. Enjoyed talking to @ninjakiwigames and @teamterribledev.
@dressCodeHQ Thank you for running these competitions, they really are inspiring. Told the lunchtime club today and have already been presented with 2 entries from pupils who have been working on projects since January and were eagerly awaiting the summer competition opening.
Thank you to @AbertayCyber, CyberFirst and @NCSC for inviting S3 students to take part in the cyber security workshop. They had a great time being CyberFirst Investigators for the day and learning about different careers in the field of #cybersecurity#dyw@BlairgowrieHS
