Hi to everyone at Authors Live (including our classmates!) Primary 7/6 @KnightsridgePr1 would like to know how you choose an illustrator to work with, and do they always represent your ideas as you had pictured them? #BBCAuthorsLive
What an amazing week P2 had! From surprise visitors to positive postcards! We were also blown away by a very special gift from @MrsMitchellKPS and P6/5, which made us think about ways we can connect with others in our school and community. @KnightsridgePr1
A lovely end to the week, celebrating certificate winners! We also made a paper chain showing our connections to others - in the playground, through sport and because we all share the same planet. Bertie loved getting involved! Thanks also to @MrsPiperKPS for the lovely ecard!
This week we are celebrating #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek! On Monday we were delighted to welcome a new member of P6/5 - meet Bertie the Bear! Here he is on his first day, helping us with our research projects! We can't wait to share his adventures! @KnightsridgePr1
We were very bright in Primary 6/5 last week as we supported Go Bright Day, raising money for Muscular Dystrophy UK! We also celebrated our reading lanyard and Friday Shout out recipients - they have been working hard to demonstrate our school values! @KnightsridgePr1
A busy week in Primary 6/5! We loved seeing everyone for our virtual assembly - we shared a Scottish song we had learned. We have used our reciprocal reading strategies to help us understand Scottish poems and we created beautiful drawings of Scottish landmarks. @KnightsridgePr1
It was lovely to have everyone back for the start of term this week! We have been using our research skills to find out all about Scotland and its beautiful landscape - lots of interesting discussion and working together! @KnightsridgePr1
A very special thank you from Primary 6/5 to @Furtherfrom for gifting us so many wonderful books for our class library! Our class librarians loved looking through them and creating a new and inviting display of books! We can't wait to read some of them! @KnightsridgePr1
We loved listening to the wonderful Alex T Smith read part of The Grumpus and can't wait to read it ourselves! We also enjoyed drawing the character of Furball - We think we did a great job! Thank you to @Alex_T_Smith, @MacmillanKidsUK and @Furtherfrom for a wonderful morning!
Celebrating success on Friday with our new reading lanyard recipient, our special Friday award winner and our most recent Bronze certificate winners! Well done to everyone, we're very proud of you! @KnightsridgePr1
We enjoyed learning about our Rights on Friday for our Celebrating our Rights morning. We discussed the Rights we have, and then explored Article 12 - our right to express our views. We thought about how we already do this, and what could be improved. @KnightsridgePr1#kpsrrs
