It’s been a very unusual year but P6 have demonstrated amazing resilience and have achieved so much. A fabulous group of stars and well done to all of them 🌟.

Well done to all the P6 children who participated in the cross country challenge 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️👏. It was hot and exhausting but we still managed to get many excellent times. Thanks to the P1s who cheered us on 😊. @Kinneil_PS

P6 would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Miller for organising a fun filled and energetic Health Week 💛🖤.
Keeping fit with a mile a day, playing games during rugby and football and to top it off Sports Day, a great time was had by all 😀.@Kinneil_PS

P6 put their Young Leader and communication skills to the test. They made obstacle courses for their buddies and helped them enjoy the courses. The class and nursery had a fantastic and fun time, a terrific experience for all the children👏@Kinneil_PS

P6 spent time with an athlete this morning exhausting themselves! Star jumps, press ups, spotty dogs and mountain climbers, all non stop. It was great to see all the children being so enthusiastic 👏😊@Kinneil_PS

P6 made beautiful and tasty rainbow kebabs. Everyone tasted everything, although the tomatoes weren’t that popular. Lemons and strawberries came out top! 🌈🍋🍓@Kinneil_PS

P6 did amazingly well with their Buddy Communication workshop. Mrs McKellar gave our future Buddies lots of advice and tips on ways of communicating with younger children. We’ll start working extra hard on our Makaton signing. A huge thanks to Mrs McKellar.@Kinneil_PS

P6 have had another eventful week with Buddy Training. The groups had the opportunity to teach one another their amazing, fun filled games and quickly realised it was quite challenging being a young leader! They all rose to the challenge 👏🌟@Kinneil_PS

P6 have been taking part in Active Leader training in anticipation of becoming buddies. We’ve been working in teams, learning about communication skills, responsibilities and most importantly having fun 😀. @Kinneil_PS

For part of our P6 IDL topic we have been learning about gravity. After finding out about what it was, we did an experiment to try and find out how the force worked. Many groups were very successful, team work makes the dream work 💛🖤 @Kinneil_PS

P6 have been learning lots about our Solar System. They are now starting to prepare a group poster and presentation about their new learning. It’s fantastic to see them work coooperatively, listening to and supporting one another 💛🖤. @Kinneil_PS

We were all sorry to say goodbye to Mrs Craig today and wish her the best of luck in the future.
P6 have done a lot of varied learning tasks this week, including debating, art, living and growing and very tricky numeracy. I hope everyone enjoys their long weekend.@Kinneil_PS

It’s been great to welcome back P6. It will be a busy and fun last term.

I’m really enjoying doing PE with the class and it’s great to see another set of skills developing in P6. There are many amazing netball players 🏐🥇.
Our hard working week was rounded of with the children enjoying each other’s company during Social Time🤩. @Kinneil_PS

It’s been great to see so many of the children get involved in Book Week and I’ve seen some brilliant work 📚. As I’ve seen great work in other areas.
