York Class took part in the RSPB garden birdwatch today. We were fascinated by the binoculars and enjoyed keeping a record of which birds we had seen. We also made bird feeders to keep our feathered friends happy over the winter! @LeasStAndrews

York Class were very interested in the new atlases that have arrived in school - thank you Mrs Coote! We were fascinated to look at ‘cold’ places on the maps and our minds were blown when we learned that penguins and polar bears don’t live together! @LeasStAndrews

York Class have been thinking about Remembrance and why we remember. They worked hard to create a special poppy wreath for our Armistice Day worship. Mrs Moseley was very impressed with how respectful and thoughtful the children were throughout the whole event. @LeasStAndrews

York Class have been exploring colour mixing using ‘The Colour Monster’ as a starting point. We painted him with primary colours and were excited to see that we made new colours when we mixed them together! @LeasStAndrews
