I asked the kids to give a one-word reflection of the year - Glad to see how many positive words were used! I will miss this great group of 6th graders next year!
Created our own class rubrics today for our mini-memoirs. This was a first for my students. How did they like it?...and I quote “Can we do this again?” ❤️❤️❤️ #wearemaumee
Some of the comments on students' Flipgrid reflections include: "I am proud of myself," "I am more comfortable with my writing," and "I can't believe I wrote this."
This is why I love what I do.

First day of school: I got to hear students’ perceptions of writing. Glad to see many words like “fun,” “imaginative” and “amazing.” Can’t wait to see how their writing progresses throughout the year! #wearemaumee
