Mummy Penny

I am Mrs MummyPenny; wife of one, mother of two. I am in my very late twenties, and am actually quite looking forward to my thirties.

Food is more enjoyable when I haven't had to cook it myself; or do the clearing up after!! #sotrue

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

I have made the fatal mistake of sitting down! #sobeyondtired!!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

Spend the morning persuading hubby to try for baby no. 3; then spend the arvo being driven crazy by the 2 we already have! #ironyatitsbest

The children have hit the crazed/exhausted stage already! Its gonna be a loooooong and quite painful afternoon!

Classic wake up call at 6.50am: "mummy I need a wee! Its a huge wee!......look! We did it! we did it!" Cue me cleaning the floor at 7am!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

Its been another one of THOSE days! So it makes it one of THOSE weeks! Roll on kids bedtime so I can have a glass of something sweet!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

My most used phrase today?: "do you need a wee? Are you sure?" #justsaying

Potty-training is meant to save money. In all honesty it'd be cheaper to buy nappies than do all the washing I now have!!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

Did I make the easter egg hunt too hard? The children didn't find any! Oh well, their loss is my gain!! There goes the diet!!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

I don't need to see my kids all the time to remember them; I just need to look in the mirror and I can see the lasting effects!!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

Sun is shining, weather is drying, kids fighting and screaming; all pretty normal then!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

I love my "job" on days like today when the sun is out a the kids are busy! #wishingeverydaycouldbeliketoday

Why is it that when you need someone to rely on, the one person you shouldn't count on is your spouse??!!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

Its not easy to find p/t work when you're a f/t mum; maybe I should considering being a mum p/t instead; f/t work seems easier to find!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

School holidays always seem like a good idea; unfortunately the reality is far from good! 3 days in and I'm exhausted!!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

I really couldn't tell you who is worse: my parents, or my in-laws!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

So, the husband's method of survival after a late night and early start? Sarcasm! Who will break first? I vote: me!!

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

Being a parent is arguably the most important job! But can it always be the most fulfilling??

[Mummy Penny @MrsMummyPenny]

It makes me laugh listening to people moan about 14 hour days- I'm a mum who works 24/7, 365 days a year! Get over it!!

trying to get my poor baby-brain to focus on the art of blogging!!
